THE EL CONVENTO RESIDENCE in SAMARA is equipped to host and organise (in harmony with the natural Costa Rican environment) every kind of meeting, such as: seminars, conferences, sport, culture, natural medicine, music, dance, art, cooking, religious or lay associations, etc..

The property must have and retain the character of a Convent, in other words, in accordance with the teachings of Saint Francis, it must be open to all.
The word "convent" means a meeting or assembly of persons gathered in the same place; the term has both a lay and religious significance.
The word "convent" means: a building in which a religious community lives, from the Latin conventum = a coming together or assembly.
The religious term means: walking in God's presence.
If you wish to use the restaurant which is available, the additional cost must be agreed in advance with the management depending on the number of participants at congresses, seminars and courses.
Individuals or families can use the kitchenette which is available in each apartment.
The restaurant service at Residence El Convento is available if requested by groups.
